Bike Farm is an all volunteer-run collective dedicated to every aspect of bicycle education, from safe commuting to repair. Our mission is to provide a space where people can learn about the bicycle and build community around promoting sustainable transportation. We strive to demystify the bicycle in order to impact the city in a healthy and positive way.

Kasher Your Cogs — a series of bike workshops sponsored by Bike Farm and Kayam.

Join us at Bike Farm for a free hands-on workshop that will cover basic bicycle mechanics. We’ll review major parts and systems of a bicycle, we’ll go through some simple tests for checking a bicycle’s safety, performance, and fit, and we’ll learn how to fix a flat. We’ll also go over how to use some bike-specific tools properly. At the end of the session, we’ll take time to answer individual bike questions.

Bringing your own bike is encouraged. All are welcome. You don’t have to be Jewish, half-Jewish, a badass, or even keep Kosher to come.

When? Sunday, April 19th

What Time? 4PM-6PM

How Much? FREE, donations are always appreciated

Bummer. I always find out about these things too late to plan to attend.
I’d LOVE to come some Sunday afternoon and help out. Can you let me know in advance? Thanks for spreading the Hamish Bike Love. –Beth
