Bike Farm is an all volunteer-run collective dedicated to every aspect of bicycle education, from safe commuting to repair. Our mission is to provide a space where people can learn about the bicycle and build community around promoting sustainable transportation. We strive to demystify the bicycle in order to impact the city in a healthy and positive way.

Subject: [shift] Tweed Ride and Chop my stash for Haiti!

I want YOU to chop my stash for Haiti!

That’s right.
Come to my home on Wednesday, Feb 3rd, and chop off a piece of my mustache in exchange for making a donation of $5, or whatever you can afford, which I will send to Lamp for Haiti, a charity co-founded by my friends brother-in-law that has maintained a free medical clinic in the most impoverished region of Port-au-Prince, Cite Soleil, since 2004.

You get to chop a little, or maybe you get to chop a lot, it depends on how many people show up.
Please, help my mustache go bye-bye, and help keep medical care flowing in Cite Soleil.

When: Wed, Feb 3rd, from 7pm to 930pm
Where: 6446 NE Cleveland Ave

OoOO! and if anybody wants to, we can go for a bike ride after the chopping and get a beer, and marvel at how I can now drink out of a glass without having to wipe the foam out of the stash afterwards.

Aha! See, it IS bike fun!

Thanks,

Nate

While most of us were still recovering from our New Year’s Eve parties, Collin and Ashley were already on their way riding across America! They are traveling from Ft. Lauderdale, FL back to good ol’ Portland, OR from Jan. 2 to late March.

Manatee_front

Check out their website for more information and they’re accepting donations to us (yay!) and the Coalition for Livable Future.

If you’re so inclined, help them (and us) out with a donation to the Bike Farm!
