Bike Farm is an all volunteer-run collective dedicated to every aspect of bicycle education, from safe commuting to repair. Our mission is to provide a space where people can learn about the bicycle and build community around promoting sustainable transportation. We strive to demystify the bicycle in order to impact the city in a healthy and positive way.

Starting Winter 2012, Portland Community College will launch a bike rental program at their Cascade campus and Bike Farm is part of it!Bike Program logo For only $15 per term, students can rent a bike for the duration of one or a maximum of three consecutive terms. Students will be responsible for their own repairs and maintenance, so each bike will come with a Bike Farm membership!  Organized and maintained by the Associated Students of PCC (ASPCC), the Cascade Bike Program is sponsored in part by Cyclone Bicycle Supply, The Community Cycling Center, Portland Design Works and of course, Bike Farm!  We are very excited to be involved and look forward to seeing PCC students in the shop.  For more information, see the Cascade Bike Program website and bikeportland.org’s coverage.  Happy Wrenching!

Finally! Bike Farm now has a reliable and cheap way to process Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Cards! With Spring and Summer just around the corner, now would be a good time to stop in and sign up for that one year membership! Think of all the projects you could get done!
