Bike Farm is an all volunteer-run collective dedicated to every aspect of bicycle education, from safe commuting to repair. Our mission is to provide a space where people can learn about the bicycle and build community around promoting sustainable transportation. We strive to demystify the bicycle in order to impact the city in a healthy and positive way.

Bike Farm will be setting up a mobile stand next month at East Sunday Parkways. Mechanics will be available to walk you through fixing flats, adjusting brakes, lubing up those rusty chains, and other quick fixes.

Stand time during Sunday Parkways is FREE! Volunteers will also be selling tubes, patch kits, memberships, and Bike Farm t-shirts.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 12th (Mother’s Day!) from 11am to 4pm. Come visit us at the Foster Flood Plain area on SE Foster Road and the Springwater Corridor.

More information about Sunday Parkways is available on PBOT’s website: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/transportation/58929

Bike Farm will be closed tomorrow, Saturday the 23rd, as all of our volunteers will be unavailable. The shop will be open for normal hours on Sunday. On the off chance that someone does make it in, feel free to call and check if it’s open.

Bike Farm is all volunteer run, and sometimes we come up short staffed. Email volunteer@bikefarm.org to find out how you can help.

Thanks for your understanding!
